How To Use
Although the Silk’n Blue is designed to be extremely user-friendly, Silk’n recommends that consumers read the included User’s Manual prior to using the device. The Silk’n Blue User Manual is included in a DVD included with the purchase of the device. General instructions for using the device have been included below, and demonstrate just how easy the device is to use.
1) Press the device’s Power button to turn the Silk’n Blue On or Off.
2) The green Treatment Indicator light will blink as the device is powered on. When the device is ready to use, the light will glow steadily.
3) Hold the Blue applicator tip against the skin for three to four minutes. The temperature of the skin will slowly begin to rise.
4) After three to four minutes, move the applicator tip to the next treatment area on the skin.
5) Continue to wash the skin daily for best results.

Duration of Treatment
When used on a regular basis, most people who use the Silk’n Blue Acne Treatment Device began to see clearer skin in three to seven weeks. As always reviews show that results will vary between individuals because of the variability that exists between a person’s skin type (oily, medium, or dry), and the amount of acne present on the skin. Although results are typically obtained between 3 and 7 weeks, maintenance treatments can be performed whenever isolated breakouts begin to appear.

Safety Features
The Silk’n Blue is a very safe device to use for treating acne. Side effects are very minimal, and will typically subside within a very short amount of time. However, to make the device as safe as possible, Home Skinovations has incorporated a built-in temperature sensor on the device to keep it from overheating. Furthermore, this temperature sensor also identifies when skin is beginning to reach temperatures that are likely to lead to adverse side effects. When the device begins to reach levels that might cause negative reactions, it will shut down, and provide sufficient time for it to cool off.

Side Effects
As mentioned in the previous section, the Silk’n Blue is a very safe device to use. With the addition of a built-in temperature sensor, the side effects that users experience with the device are very limited. However, some users experience a slight reddening of the skin being treated. This redness, however, should fade within about an hour of use. Most users will experience the completely normal sensation of skin warming over the treatment area. Although the part of the skin that is being treated will remain warm after the Silk’n Blue is removed from the skin, this warmth will disappear within one hour of the treatment session.
These side effects are substantially less than the dramatic reddening, irritation, and drying of the skin that results from using many other acne treatment products.

Technology
The light-emitting diodes (LEDs) that are in use in the Silk’n Blue Acne Device are designed to promote dual purpose acne treatment to consumers by first using a dermal infrared heating system to dehydrate the oil-producing glands that sit just below the surface of the skin. The oil produced by these glands is what bacteria feed off on the surface of the skin. With less oil to feed on, bacteria cannot thrive. As a result, consumers experience less acne on their skin.
The second purpose of the LEDs of the Silk’n Blue is to kill any acne-causing bacteria that may be present on the skin. The combination of technology that the Silk’n Blue utilizes makes it one of the most effective acne treatment products available today.
